Pedigree Dogs Excellent

I KNOW! Today is the day everyone has been waiting for. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2012
It'sss... Show Time!

Get ready to view the star studded players and runway beauties that flanked the mats at the Markham Dog Show. First up, strutting her stuff on the runway is a very dear to my heart, Lil Miss Molly!

I am just starting to learn about gaiting vs pacing and for me, learning about movement and structure makes watching the dogs more interesting and a challenge to peg the winner.

Sometimes a pup has to work it to shine. Hey Mom,  stacking might be a breeze, if we loose these knots!

Others have a unmistakable, bigger than life presence all on their own.

Oh :P MOM!! I just wanna have fun!  Conformation Ring Patterns are for nerds.

Sizing up the competition.

Getting a bit of ringside jitters!

While others appear bored silly.

Would I shock you if I told you prior to Cavaliers I owned a Doberman? Mine was not much bigger than Kodee and shy. Nothing like the tall, graceful confident ones I viewed today.

Okay... someone appears a little under dressed for the occasion!

Here is the deal. You have a mammoth treat ready on the exit and I leave the mat clean.

VaVaVoom!! Try as I might, I just can't get a coat to look as perfect as this!

Sometimes it's nice to have someone to lean on.

But the best part, is getting back home to the important stuff - the lov'in.

Do you compete in agility, rally or obedience? Keep those ribbons! I love this pillow and it doesn't look too difficult to make. If your lacking time or is that talent, you can always have Perfect Pillow make it for you.

Go Fetch!

Loved these! I've always wanted to go to a dog show! I know what you mean about the coat on that Blenheim, but I definitely don't like clipped tails on Cavs! P.S. Time to get rid of that pesky word verification. I've made it a habit to quit commenting on blogs that require it because so often it's impossible to read but I've made an exception today.

For me Cavaliers radiate enthusiasm, confidence and beauty.

If only - we - the owners, had same traits.

We went to the dog show in Chicago last weekend, too! It was a lot of fun and pretty interesting. I have such a hard time with the show line GSD's though. It looks like you saw some really gorgeous pups there!

Hey that pillow is super cute, I'm wondering if I can get my Mum to make one like that for me to rest my weary head on?

Big wags,

Your pal Snoopy :)

Becky, you are so pretty! Every time mom uses some CC shampoo (she still has 1 or 2 travel samples that Sara sent to her), we'll think of you and your fluffy, shiny coat!

Those photos are great, and wow! A ribbon cushion! I am tempted to give that a go.

Great shots! I need to make a point to go have some fun shooting at shows again. I have far too many photos of Vizslas in the ring. I have always toyed with the idea of taking photos for people at the shows and selling them to them.

WHat lens did you use this day? Seems to have some good reach.
