Meet "Miss Furry Couch Potato".
That's right. Kodee has been crowned "Miss Furry Couch Potato". OK so I exaggerate but she did win a prize! When I got home today I found a large package on our door step. Dad saw the parcel then said "It's from "Dog Basics what did you buy?" I squealed "NOTHING! Honest!"
The letter read "Thank you for entering our Dog Basics "Couch Potato" contest sponsored by Pledge. We are pleased to inform you your photo was one of our favourites."
They loved Miss Kodee lounging on the couch. *COUGH* Kodee, the WHITE COUCH. Down, now!
I headed over to http://www.dogbasics.ca/ to thank them. While there I noticed their spring issue had the perfect article in their dog behaviour section for Becky, Sticks and Stones. Yup my girl is a naughty chewer! We're working on it!

Honey loves to chew sticks too. I always feel so mean making her stop and taking them away from her but I'm also conscious of how dangerous they can be...(sigh) - I hate it when she looks at me with those reproachful eyes, though, especially when she'd just been having loads of fun with it! You just can't win!

Congrats on the award - and yikes about the wood-chewing. My 'puppy' Belle is always gnawing on wood (or towels or leather gloves or whatever else she finds). Thanks for the tip!
